It is Saturday about 4:30 p.m. and The Ear just got word:
TONIGHT’S CONCERT BY THE PRO ARTE STRING QUARTET (below) HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
The cause for the cancellation is illness.
I have not been given word about the group’s “Sunday Live From the Chazen” appearance topmorrow, but that would seem doutbful.
Let me know if you hear otherwise.

Hi Greg,
I misread all that I had and for thought a moment it said that. But I checked again and quickly corrected it. It said because of illness — don’t know whose.
Sorry for any misleading information.
I rushed to get word out of the cancellation, which was itself the priority.
I too hope to hear the same program at a later time. It’s a great one.
Best,
Jake
